MOVE!

Our world is a mess...

15 million AIDS orphans

50 million abortions

And 1.3 billion living off less then a dollar

Cost of feeding them and providing them with water, basic medicine and sanitation?

Only 20 billion

(That's the amount Americans spend on ice cream a year...)

We live in a messed up world...

My soul weeps when I hear about these injustices...

Its not me, It's the Christ within me who weeps...

'for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.'

The western world is obsessed with money and image,

men go to any length to gain power

and yet all their struggles are in vain...

They get faster cars and bigger houses, but it doesn't satisfy their hearts desire...

If anything it pushes them further and further away from the thing which the really seek

We live in a messed up world...

but what is being done about it?

It pains me to see preachers preaching a static and dead message to such a hurting world.

How can they speak so passively when we are in a very real spiritual war

A war larger than this planet.

Preachers shouldn't teach Christians to smile and look pretty...

That's not what faith is about...

They should teach Compassion and Sacrifice and Freedom...

But teaching on its own won't change a thing...

"I dare you to move, I dare you to move, I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor"

Christians of today need to be real people moving in the way of God

Not people putting on fake smiles and stopping at that...

I long to be in a Church that would die for each other

Or that would sell all that they had and take up their cross...

A growing Church of love and honesty that really did change the world..

But most of all a church based entirely on Jesus

Non-Christians aren't interested in fake Christians who pretend everything is always 'good'

If we are fake then what separates us from the world?

We need to be honest and real with each other...

If someone is feeling crap, why paint a smile over it?

Those who live dishonesty breed dishonesty in other parts of their lives

We should be there for each other...

Supporting and praying for each other

Almost all growth comes out of brokenness and we all feel it

We are called to touch and change everyone around us...

WE SHOULDN'T BE STATIC

Doing anything is better than doing nothing...

If you don't know exactly what you are called to,

then just do something with God in your heart

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him"

Also, moving out of our comfort zone and stepping out in faith

is the main way in which God can minister to us...

Jesus healed the cripple by saying get up and walk

and the man had to take a risk and get up

to be healed...

and he was!

If you want strength,

God may well put you in a place where you need to show it...

Anyway... bit of a random rant...

So, we live in a messed up world...

And I am tired at the general state of it...

Basically...

I'm gunna change the world

And today I invite you to take a radical turn and change the world too

Dream BIG

And God will move the mountains

Be bold and courageous

Rock the boat of injustice

And move in the spirit
